Good day, folks welcome to Rw’s The Trends. The Las Vegas Clark County Commissioners have given green light for more ‘The Boring Company’ project tunnels in Las Vegas to connect 50 stations in the Loop.
On February 4, in the afternoon, the Clark County’s official Twitter page wrote the following message, announcing the new contract for the Boring Company’s expansion in Las Vegas. “Another step in the underground people mover project.
Commissioners approved a license and maintenance agreement for The Boring Company to use a part of the right-of-way on Las Vegas Blvd. to build a tunnel transit system between the Las Vegas Convention Ctr. and Resorts World,” wrote the Clark County’s official Twitter Page.
The commissioners have given the go-ahead for The Boring Company to build two new tunnels and the total, the Vegas Loop will connect approximately 50 stations on the Loop. K10 who is The Tesmanian’s new reporter focusing on The Boring Company’s coverage, writes “the Vegas Loop overall at proposal will be approximately 10.5 miles long, of two parallel tunnels, a total of 24 miles of tunnels, on either side of Las Vegas Boulevard South.
The Tunnels will be 13.5-foot diameter, located approximately 30 feet below ground.” She also explains that this approval gives The Boring Co the right to use a part of the right-of-way on Las Vegas Boulevard to build a tunnel transit system, all to connect to the Las Vegas Convention Center. The project overall is quite cost-effective by a factor of 10x. Elon Musk’s Boring Company is expanding elsewhere as well. In November 2020.
